Big Bass 3in1
Big Bass 3in1 is a calm little collection that surprised me more than I expected. As the name hints, it bundles three separate modes around a fishing theme, and all of them run happily with the phone in airplane mode. The main mode is a timing game where you tap to cast and then reel in with a simple tug rhythm; the second is a tile-matching puzzle themed around tackle and lures; the third is a quiet idle pond you slowly stock and decorate.
Controls are one-thumb friendly, which is the whole point on a crowded bus. Casting is a hold-and-release gesture, reeling is a series of taps timed to a shrinking meter, and the puzzle mode is plain swipe matching. Nothing here demands precision, and that laid-back tone is what kept me coming back for short sessions. Progress carries between the three modes through a shared collection screen, so unlocking a new lure in one mode feels like it means something in the others.
What I liked most was the pace. There's no timer pressure hanging over you and no menu asking you to reconnect. It's the kind of game you open for four minutes while the kettle boils. It won't blow anyone away with depth, but as an offline time-killer it's genuinely pleasant.
