Big Bass 3in1: three small games, one calm afternoon

I didn't expect much from Big Bass 3in1 when I installed it. It looked like a throwaway bundle. But it turned into my go-to game for short breaks, mostly because it never asks anything of me. Airplane mode on, open it, tap for a few minutes, close it.

The casting mode is the heart of it. You hold to charge a cast, release to send the line out, then reel in with a rhythm of taps against a shrinking meter. It's simple, but there's a small skill curve to timing the tugs cleanly, and I found myself trying to beat my own catches.

The puzzle mode is a swipe-to-match layer that shares a collection screen with the rest of the game, so progress feels connected rather than three unrelated apps stapled together. The idle pond is the quietest of the three — you stock it, decorate it, and check in now and then.

Would I call it deep? No. But Big Bass 3in1 knows exactly what it wants to be: a low-pressure offline time-killer with clean one-thumb controls. For that job, it works better than a lot of flashier games I've deleted.
